We reserve the right to change said terms and conditions at anytime by notifying you of the changes on our website. By continuing to use the services provided by LUKE SHALAN TECHNÉ, you agree to all current and amended terms and conditions.
CONTENTS:
Unless otherwise noted, all materials, including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips, and written and other materials that appear as part of this website (collectively, the "Contents") are copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual properties owned, controlled or licensed by Luke Shalan Techné. The Site as a whole is protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by Luke Shalan Techné.
The Contents of www.lukeshalanteche.com ("Site"), and the Site as a whole, are intended solely for personal, noncommercial (other than for the purchase of merchandise from our site) use by the users of our Site. You may download or copy the Contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the Site for your personal use only. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the Contents, the Site, or any related software.
PRICING:
All prices are subject to change at anytime. Prices will be updated on the website when changes are made, and any order placed after the change will be subject to the new prices.
LEAD TIME / SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
Ceramic production takes time. If goods or services are not in stock please allow 3-12 weeks for production and 1-2 weeks for shipping. All shipping and handling costs will be covered by you ("buyer"). All shipments will be insured unless otherwise noted by the buyer. Taxes are calculated upon order. The postage and packaging is calculated on the delivery address of each order.
Currently we ship to the US and Canada. Exceptions may be made on a individual basis for international shipping.
For all orders shipped outside the U.S., be aware that our prices do not account for VATs or other customs duties that may be added by your country upon receipt. Please take the time to educate yourself about potential costs and delivery delays before placing your order. Unfortunately Luke Shalan Techné cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or delivery delays your package may incur.
WHOLESALE TERMS:
Luke Shalan Techné is pleased to work with authorized retailers, but reserves the right to refuse wholesale accounts. To qualify for a wholesale account with Luke Shalan Techné you ("buyer") must be a valid retail business and provide a copy of your retail exemption certificate to lshalan@gmail.com. (first time orders only). By placing an order with Luke Shalan Techné and providing the resale exemption certificate said buyer is representing that they (buyer) are the owner, agent or representative of a current valid retail business and that the transaction being made is a wholesale, tax exempt purchase for resale only. All wholesale orders have a minimum order of $1500.00 (USD) (not including shipping and handling) and are subject to a 50% discount off the MSRP. Trade Clients (such as, but not limited to; interior designers, architects, interior decorators etc) may receive a 10% discount off the MSRP.
PRIVACY:
Luke Shalan Techné respects the privacy of all its clients' confidential account information. Luke Shalan Techné will not share any private information from any account without prior authorization from said account holder.
RETURNS AND DAMAGED GOODS:
All sales are final. If you receive any damaged or broken goods inform lshalan@gmail.com within 48hrs of delivery. If your (the "Buyer") shipment is damaged in transit Buyer agrees to contact the carrier and Luke Shalan Techné. Buyer also agrees to save all packaging, material and product as required by Carrier. Carrier will conduct an investigation for the damage claim and carrier and/or Luke Shalan Techné will contact Buyer once the investigation is completed to resolve the issue.
'DESIGNS' ON LOAN:
By agreeing to take 'designs' on loan, including but not limited to; physical prototypes, drawings and other material designated as "designs", said client agrees to return designs within a reasonable time of request, or pay Luke Shalan Techné the applicable Design & Prototyping fees. If the 'design' is broken or damaged while in the client's possession, client will be responsible for paying the applicable Design & Prototyping fees.
INDEMNIFICATION:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luke Shalan Techné against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, obligations, and damages of every kind that may be incurred as a consequence of any use or misuse of this Site, or any of its Contents.
PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES:
All smoking products and accessories may only be purchased by customers of legal age in their respective location. By purchasing any such product, you verify that you are of a legal age.
Pipes and some smoking accessories may not be shipped to certain destinations. For more information, please see our FAQ page.
DISCLAIMER
YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THIS SITE WILL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
