Geological and figurative, drawing inspiration from Gongshi or Viewing Stones- found objects in nature that reference something worth sharing. Viewing stones have been collected for centuries, as a way of appreciating and elevating the natural beauty around us. My Viewing Stone Sculptures are a collaboration between me as an observer and clay as my landscape. Celebrating the nature of it and showcasing the nuanced beauty of the material.
